Aboriginal Health Worker - Chronic Disease and Early Intervention

Galambila is currently recruiting for an Aboriginal Health Worker - Chronic Disease and Early Intervention.  This is a full time role and employment will be as a fixed term through to June 2018.  


This is an exciting role at Galambila in which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Facilitate our Spring into Shape Program
  • Guide clients in improving their health and wellbeing journey
  • Lead our Elder's Health Days
  • Undertake Aboriginal Health Work in our Community Health team

Please note that Galambila Aboriginal Health Service considers that being Australian Aboriginal is a genuine occupational qualification under s. 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 NSW.  The successful applicant will need to provide documentation that they are recognised by the Aboriginal Community as being of Aboriginal descent.
