Vacancy - Aboriginal Health Worker - Men's Mental Health Support

Galambila is currently recruiting for a part time Aboriginal Health Worker - Men's Mental Health Support. 

This is an exciting new role at Galambila in which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Identification of health issues and needs with the development of health care plans;
  • Community and Clinical Health service in line with skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience;
  • Provision of health information and education in relation to prevention and treatment of chronic conditions;
  • The provision of person-centred mental health support services to clients, carers and families;
  • Development of effective linkages to facilitate client access to the full range of health and social support services; and
  • Provide assistance and support with a range of health promotion activities and programs.

This is a part time opportunity - The successful candidate will work 8 hours a day, 3 days per week (total of 24 hours during the week).
